Chatbeet is designed to need as little as possible. We do not ask for your real name, email or phone number to chat. We may process:
We require users to confirm they are 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn a user is under 18, we may delete their guest data and block access.
We store a small cookie so you can be recognised when you return. This guest cookie lasts about 3 months and then expires. It contains a random identifier — not your real identity. We do not use advertising trackers.
Message text may be sent to an AI provider (e.g. xAI Grok) to translate or generate AI companion replies. Do not share sensitive personal information in chats.
Uploaded photos/videos are stored on our cloud infrastructure to show them in chat. Keep uploads appropriate and lawful. Do not upload content involving minors.
Recent messages and media are kept only as long as needed to run chat and safety features, and volume is limited. Anonymous counters (visits, users, messages) may be kept for statistics.
We do not sell your data. Content is shared with the person(s) you chat with (including public Main Chat participants when you post there), and with infrastructure/AI providers needed to operate Chatbeet.
